• Allah (swt) made everything. He made food for us to eat, the sun, the moon so we can rest and sight.
• Allah (swt) is not like us. He is not women or man.
• HE HAS NO CHILDREN
• The Kabah is located in Makkah
• As Muslims we ONLY pray to Allah (swt)
• Names of some prophets; Muhammad, Adam, Musa and Nuh
• The Quran is a book from Allah
• Angels are made from light.
• Prophet Muhammad was a Rasul. ~Rasul- messenger~
• Angel Jibril (A) brought the Quran to Muhammad (S)
• Muhammad was born in Arabia
• The Quran took 23 years to complete, it's completely in Arabic and has 114 chapters.
• There are five pillars of Islam

                           1.Shahadah

                           4.zakat/charity

• Salah means five daily prayers
• Fasting means to not eat or drink
• People all around the world go to Makkah to make Hajj

. Level 4 beginners Quran class will be tested on  Al Fatiha thru Nasr .. *Please know what the suras are talking about.  Plus memorization and flow of the sura and speed... Points off for rushing .. *There are questions for each sura ... 

My girls have both their Quran n Islamic Studies study guide. It is very important to answer your study guide.. And study it. No one should fail cuz the test will be verbatim .. (As on study guide will be on the test)  

Islamic Studies: 

Test is lessons 1-5 in shaa Allah   

Test will be 10/12/2014 with the start of our first Bayyinah TV Series in shaa Allah  and it's a pizza day in shaa Allah

My name is Aza( um Moumen)

I am teaching level 3a Quran. In this group I have Shoaeb, Areed, Fahim, Adam, Mahdy, Ayman, Hassan, Suzanne, and Afifa.

I started with them Surat Altakathir and inshaa Alah my goal to help them memorize as much as they can from Juz Amma. 

Also, I am teaching level 3b Arabic. I have in this group Dana, Goanna, Raneem, Sara, Malak, Laila, Abd Alwahd, Brakat, Ameen, and Sowad. 

Inshaa Alah I hope this group will be able to read easy passage in Arabic by the end of the year.

Also I am helping sister Abir in teaching Quran for level 4b. In this group we have Sara, Taif, Yasmin, and Nadine.

Level 1 Islamic Studies

Assalam Alaykum parents,

Tomorrow we will be doing an in class project on Hajj and make Eid ul Adha greeting cards insha Allah

Students will learn about the fifth pillar of Islam -Hajj

Using a pen or pencil, draw a sheep and the words 'Eid Mubarak' onto a card (or paper folded in half). Let children apply glue to the inside of the sheep's body and place cotton wool on. Have children draw some pictures and write their name on the inside for a personalised touch.
